Getting piggyback data back after cancelling order

I sent Iphone Air back last week because of the Esim fiasco. I had used 50gb of data to get money off. Then today I spoke to an advisor and ordered Iphone 17 and used 50gb again with the promise that the 50gb from the Air order would  be refunded.

 

However the order got lost when I went to sign the agreement and had to call again to reorder and another 50gb was taken but assured that the 50gb from the lost order would be refunded.

 

So I have now dropped 150gb of piggybank data. so 100gb should be refunded to me. Has anyone else used data but then cancelled order? Do you really get the data back again?

Unfortunately I'm on a similar position, Sky cancelled an order I'd used piggy bank data on due to lead time. But I don't appear to have this refunded yet either.

@duncant14 I called Sky and asked in the end and happened to get a very helpful advisor who got the missing data restored while still on the phone. So I have my 100gb back. So you will get refunded. Might be worth a call.

Took a few weeks but it did eventually get processed back to my account
