Get changed when not used sim

I have been get Charged ony sky sim since February I refused to pay the bill for a bill didn't run up how my fone got hacked n someone using my number for stuff

@Laurenclark  Not using a SIM does not mean you don't have to pay, if you're being charged for it you must have activated it, if you've had the SIM for 12 months then cancel it, withholding payment is the worse thing to do.

 

I'm at a loss as to how someone hacked your phone, this could only happen by accessing a dodgy link or using unapproved apps on the phone.

 

When you reported this alleged hack to Sky what did they advise?

They said they would look in to it for me n it was a number call on the sim card 09 number I can't remember the full number at all

@Laurenclark  You need to let them investigate however and still pay what Sky say you owe.

 

The chances that the phone is hacked is extremely slim.

You can't refuse to pay a bill. Withholding payment is the worst thing you could do and it will cause you additional problems. The relevant services will be restricted, you won't be able to call Sky, the account can't be cancelled, late payment fees will be added and eventually Sky could involve a debt recovery company which may affect your credit rating.
