Extra data not added to plan

Hi a while ago I sent a message about the data plan I was on and that I couldn't get the better offer because i was an old customer. It was supposed to go up to 40gb a month for a year for the same price I was paying but it was never added and I've just realized as I have been using my data and have had to transfer more gb over from the piggy bank. How can we fix this? Thanks amy

Can you explain how this was meant to happen, did you sign up to a new data offer on a sim for example ?
