Excessive rate

I gave a call to my wife in bangladesh on 30th june 2025. Overall had 3 call around 12 minutes 32seconds but sky charged me £49 pound? Is that even normal? This are more than expected. Im literally frustrated

Were you in the UK when making these calls?

Were your calls made to a UK based mobile?

@Alam2  Calls to UK mobile numbers are free, if you made an international call, which it sounds like you did then your going to be charged for such a call.  Sky have a list of call charged on their website, it is up to you to check.

 

If your going to call international numbers you may be best off adding the International Saver to your mobile plan.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-mobile-tariff-guide?irct=help-sts-tariff-guide

 

Calls to Bangladesh from a UK mobile number are charged at £3.50 per minute so a charge of £46 is correct, International Saver would cost £4 per month and would include calls to Bangladesh charged at 5p per minute.

 

With International Saver it would have been. 60p for those calls plus £4 for International Saver giving a total £4.60
