Esim failed activation

First time trying an esim and so far majorly regret it should have just got a physical one! I followed all the steps to activate it but had a pretty much instant email saying it had failed to activate and that they would be in contact within 48 hours if they couldnt fix the issue. It has been more than 48 hours. I can't seem to get hold of a real person - no number and sky bot just sends me round in circles or directs me here. My esim is still not activated. I am unable to retry as it says the code is invalid/already used. I am also unable to reorder a replacement as it says that my PAC is now also invalid and I can't get a new one as they said they have already sent me one. It appears a lot of people have had the same issue (should have done my research prior). How has this been resolved for everyone else or is there a real person to contact? Stuck with a new phone that I can't use and pretty sure my current sim plan runs out before Christmas.

Hi @EbonyB  do you have a working physical sky sim ? You mention a PAC, are you joining sky from another network ?

You can have a physical sim as an eSIM isn't required is transfering your number.

Re: Esim failed activation

@caesarome do I just out my current physical sim into my new phone? The esim had a new data plan which is why it is separate. Might just see if I can update my current plan and cancel the new one. Any ideas how to do this?

@EbonyB

You can't actually transfer a number between two Sky sims so as @63johnw has said you can continue using the sim you have.
