I requested to cancel the contract and have recorded a letter I do not require the sky sim mobile or any contract with you

Hi @Adam+Padgett to cancel a contract you need to call sky on 150. If you have had a phone on contract then you can only cancel within the 31 day cooling off period, after which you are responsible for paying off the phone. Sims are on a 12 month minimum term, if you cancel before the 12 months then you are liable for early termination charges.

As above, if you have a device plan then outside the cooling off period you cannot 'cancel' other than by clearing all of the outstanding credit owed on it.
