Emergency Calls Only - Sim not activating

My phone has been showing emergency calls only.  I have placed 3 calls with SKY and I am now waiting for the tech guys to respond - minimum of 3-5 days I have been informed.  So far I can say that there are no issues with SKY in the area we are in - this has been verified.  The mobile itself is working fine - verified by placing another sim from another network provider and it works.  The SKY sim has the same issue if placed in another handset.  Flight mode has been turned off and back on - no change.  Network settings have been reset - no change.  SKY sent out a replacement SIM and I had to go online to get it activated as the code was sent in a text to the mopbile number that was not working.  I was then told that there had been an error and I would need to try again after 24 hours.  Tried 24 hours later and yer again the same emergency calls only on the sim and now its not even sjowing my mobile number.  Anyone out there had something similar ?  Any ideas that I can suggest to SKY tech department to resolve this issue and get my mobile working.  I have been offline since 4th Nov.

So the sim and the replacement sim would not activate, has anyone suggested trying to see if you can order and activate an esim ?

No - the esim option as not been suggested - I will ask the question when I get back in touch.

My sim card and phone its no in use i a new phone with new number and new sim card

I have this problem but already have a replacement sim, any ideas how to resolve. Tech team are not helpful
