Hi I am wondering if I will get the EMERGENCY ALERT this time round

@bluemarie  Why didn't you receive the test last time? Everyone who had the alert setting turned on via their phone settings would have received it

 

so checked your phone settings for emergency alerts and make sure they are on

 

for anyone unaware the government are testing the emergency alert system nationwide on Sunday 7th September at 3pm

If your phone was on silent last time then you might not have received it but this time around everyone regardless if this setting should receive it.

Goodness knows. Just assumed i wasn't one of the chosen few at the time! I've update to 5G ensured all notifications are on and fingers crossed it works this time.

The Cabinet Office confirmed that 80% of mobile phones were capable of receiving the alert message, but that 7% had not received it, either because of the issue with the Three network, or because people had either disabled emergency alerts or switched to aeroplane mode.
