Egypt

We arrived in Egypt on Tuesday with mobile data off and haven't used our phones but were charged £45.

Disabling data roaming isn't enough.  You need to be in flight mode to guarantee you do not connect to cellular.

(£45 is the default spend cap)

Hi @AndyCampbell44  you should also turn off roaming in your phone settings and enable flight mode. Did you wait until you arrived as that is to late ? Have you made any calls or sent text messages as they are chargeable ?

At least that means the cap is working: at over £2,000 per gigabyte of date you could have run up a truly huge bill.
