As @PandJ2020 indicates, you really don't want to have cellular data switched on after leaving a UK airport.
For reference, £2 per day roaming (access to UK data allowance and 'piggybank') only applies to the EU/EEA plus the countries listed in bold below.
The vast majority of global destinations are 'rest of world' rate and consequently extremely expensive.

Egypt is a 'rest of world' location and will cost you a small fortune if you roam.
