As @PandJ2020 indicates, it would be extremely unwise to have a Sky SIM active on landing (and even before)
Typically physical SIMs are available at foreign airports, hotels and tourist destinations: eSIM has the advantage that it can be purchased online and provisioned on a device before leaving home.
