E sim failed to activate

Just wondering if this is common?

 

Unfortunately your eSIM has failed to activate. We're investigating the issue and will get you up and running as soon as possible.

 

If we're unable to activate you, we'll be in touch within 48 hours with information about what to do next.

The problem seems to be my phone is not compatible with an e sim.

 

I have a Google pixel 6a

 

How do I let sky know this, so they can post me a SIM?

I called them on the weekend and they said they're sending me an SIM , now I'm talking to them in some kind of chat feature and they're asking so I want to join sky mobile 

 

 

The whole experience seems very confusing for me

Also tried phoning them but it seems a different country, they can't seem to understand me and I can't seem to understand them

I haven't felt this stressed in year

I tried to join sky mobile on Friday, using some sort of e sim.

 

On Saturday I managed to speak to someone in a different country about the e sim.

 

Eventually they told me they're sending me a SIM.

 

I cancelled my other network.

 

The sim didn't arrive.

 

Yesterday I managed to speak to someone on sort sort of typing chat 

 

They said I'm not registered with sky.

 

I joined another network , today I got a bill from sky for sky mobile, but I'm not using sky mobile 

 

I have a headache with it all, is this normal ?
