I totally agree, IV given up on calling sky now, it's utterly frustrating

If SKY goes bust (as I have read the reports that it is struggling)

Sky Group has been an overseas division of the Comcast Corporation since October 2018

It's reasonably unlikely that Comcast is going under any time soon

Full-year 2024 highlights

Revenue: Approximately $123.7 billion.

Adjusted EBITDA: Approximately $48 billion.

Free Cash Flow: $12.5 billion.

Adjusted EPS: $4.33.

Re: Does sky outsource all calls to India now

Hi All,

I too have experienced the same thing recently,  call sky with really simple requests, people on the other end clearly can't understand me as much as I can't understand them...  imo sky is a premium product with commands a premium price, I would like to be given a premium service for my £100 a month, one that my requests are dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner.

It might not go bust, but it's never been in such a state...talking to an engineer the other day, was very enlightening... he's leaving to be a sparky, says it's pretty clear in an ever increasingly contested market that skys is struggling for market share and retention of customers..

Well yes, television satellite dish installers will have a lot less to do once there's no satellite television being broadcast...

That's somewhat different: the ISP, mobile and content creation parts of the business have rather lower requirement for vans with ladders on the roof-rack no matter how big the subscription base is.
