Do I need a sim for iPhone 17 pro

[MishMash69]

I have changed from an iPhone 14 to iPhone 17 pro and cannot find a definitive answer regarding the sim. Do I need a new sim (iPhone 14 sim one won't fit in iPhone 17 pro)  or is it automatically an eSIM?

Hi @MishMash69  if buying the iPhone 17 pro from sky then yes the sim from a 14 will fit. If you wanted to you can also convert the physical sim to an esim.

Thank you - there is no "notch" in the sim tray so it doesn't seem to fit.
Is it relatively easy to change to an esim?

The nano sim in your 14 should definitely fit @MishMash69  but it should be fairly easy to switch if you wanted to.

Thanks again - I will give it another go
