Direct debit still hasn't debited my bank account

Hi.

 

My Sky Mobile direct debit is usually taken on the 18th each month, but so far this month it hasn't been taken yet.

 

Sky Mobile account shows bill has been paid tho, but on checking bank account, no payment to Sky Mobile has been taken yet

@Daveo16  I wouldn't worry according to your bill as far as sky are concerned they have or are in the process of receiving the money so you don't need to do anything 

 

it's upto the bank to update their end so if it doesn't show on your bank by Friday contact them in the first instance

Will wait till the weekend to see if payment goes through, if not, then I'll contact or pop into bank on Monday.

Thr important thing here is that your Dky account shows this has been paid as it will say this when the process to take it has started so if you check again either later today or tomorrow it should have updated to show that it has been paid.

On my Sky account, it is showing that the bill has been paid, just waiting for it to actually debit from my bank account.

 

Bank online systems usually update around 2am, so will check after 2am tomorrow to see if payment gets taken from my bank account. If not, will keep checking until the weekend then contact or visit bank on Monday to chase up why payment hasn't debited account.

Same here.. my direct debit is 18th but not taken yet..

What shows via your Sky bill, if it says it is paid then it either has now been taken or it is in the process of being taken.
