Diamond VIP roaming

Wonder if anyone can help. I have just called Sky as I am now a diamond VIP customer to check whether I could get the unlimited data plan for the 3 sim cards I have on my account they told me it wouldn't be worth it as I had quite a bit of data in the piggy bank. Fair enough I suppose. They did however cut my bills in half so that's a win. I them asked about the free roaming advertised on my VIP homepage and was told that it wouldn't apply to me as I've not been a mobile customer long enough. But when googling the loyalty levels it says nothing about just mobile diamond level. Can someone help me as I am so confused as it just says diamond VIP on the app

Hi @Natdaw  as far as I know there is no minimum term for being a diamond vip to take advantage of the free roaming.

If you are diamond VIP then any dataplans on your account qualify for 'free' roaming.   (Only the waiving £2 passport plus)

Sky Mobile has only been going for around 10 years so it's impossible to be a Diamond VIP from just mobile currently.

(There have been a few reports on the forum where adding dataplans may not have triggered the automatic waiving)

I agree with @63johnw Diamond VIP still covers Sky Mobile once 15 years have passed even if that's the only Sky product you subscribe to.
