Delivery recieve by my flatmate

Hi i wont be able to stay at home during day time for my work reason but my flat mate will be staying. So if the delivery comes under my name, can my mate receive on behalf of me?

Unless your flatmate happens to have the same surname with you and if so then they have their own ID then they can otherwise if the driver asks for ID then they will not be able to.
