I placed an order for the iPhone 14 pro max, deep purple 128gb on the 26th October. It was saying 4-6 weeks when I ordered it. The website changed to 6-8 weeks a day or two later so I called Sky who said it would be 6 weeks and gave an estimated delivery date of 7th December. However, I noticed today that for this colour and storage it is now saying 3-4 weeks for delivery. I just called Sky to ask if my estimated delivery date had changed and they're saying no, it's still 7th December.
This seems a bit strange, as according to their website if someone orders this model now they'll receive it in 3-4 weeks and I'm being told still 6 weeks. Anyone know why this could be?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreDon't believe everything you say date wise on the website as they are not that accurate.
With regards to the Pro model it has been reported in the media recently that there is a worldwide shortage of these as Apple are struggling to keep up with the demand for them just as they could last year for some of the iPhone 13 phones. You should receive any email with as estimated delivery on it but you could be looking at 4 weeks plus.
