Delivery New device

My delivery for my new device was today but only the accessory turn up contacted SKY moblie customer service and there told me that the device would come today ... but maybe later but on the sky app it states the accessory and device would come together. So very confused 😕

Then it has yet to be dispatched presumably because Sky are awaiting stock for for your order. When it changes to dispatched it will be on it's way to DPD who will then send your an email or text with a one hour delivery slot.

So why send the accessory alone without the device ? Doesn't it not say the accessory and device will come together? At the bottom of the app ? Confusing true ?

There appears to be little (if any) logic to Sky's delivery process from the customer side.

 

Following a swap phone order, they delivered an empty box to return my old phone in two weeks ago (and then bombarded me with emails asking for the old phone back), they delivered the new phone yesterday and then delivered the accessory (that was ordered with the phone) today.

 

Three trips for DHL and three photographs of me holding the delivery.

 

On the face of it would be more logical (and less expensive) to deliver all three at once.

 

I'm afraid, from my POV, there is no common sense answer to your question.

When did you receive the phone in the end? I've just had the exact same thing happen to me, watch turned up but no phone even though it stated on the email the phone would be delivered with the watch. Customer service just kept telling me to wait as it showed in progress and due to be delivered today. She even stated she had 2 separate tracking details but then didn't give them to me

The empty box arrived first.

 

Two weeks later the phone arrived.

 

A day after that the watch arrived.
