I've read about the data roaming while you're travelling abroad we are only staying in the EU and I have read about the passport plus which is £2 per 24 hours. I'm just wondering does it happen automatically or do I have to change settings on my phone or sign up for it. I just could not find these details.

Does it set up automatically and I wil get charged £2 a day when abroad (as long as my roaming is on?)

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt starts working as soon as you turn data and roaming on when abroad and that you go online, make a phone call or send a text. The cost depends on where you are going so to make sure it is £2 you can check this out yourself here:

I am travelling to the US - can someone please advise how I activate Roaming Passport Plus - can I do it before I travel ? Or does it work automatically - I do not want to incur huge charges if I can pay £2 per day whilst I am traveling in the US.

All you need to do is make sure roaming and mobile data are on in your phone settings. It will cost £2 for 24 hours use of your home allowance and piggybank. Be aware it won't cover calls to local numbers, they are charged extra.

My data roaming is not working it worked yesterday when I landed in Italy, bu today it will not connect giving me a number to contact, which says it is cutting me off!! I am so mad as I changed purposely to sky for their roaming 😡
