Data roaming on new SIM

I'm on my first overseas trip (Spain) since switching to Sky. I did not get a text on arrival about data roaming charges although my son (already on Sky) did and his works fine. I tried various settings via the Sky Help pages but nothing works to get me a data connection. Im using a Samsung S22 Ultra. Any ideas welcomed!

Have you enabled roaming on the phone ?

Although you don't have to do you have a spend cap set that will cover your stay ?

Have you manually searched for other networks to see if your phone will connect to one ?
