Data query

Hi, I received a text to

advise I don't have much data left, I'm unsure why as I haven't been able to make calls and have been trying to get help. 

I have taken more data that I previously had with vodaphone and I never used it all?

Are you new to Sky Mobile because if so before you data resets on your billing date what you get is based on the number of days before this happens so will not be the full allowance but after it does reset you will get the full amount each month.

Sorry what does that mean? I'm concerned I will be charged for using more data than my allowance which is what the text implies?

but I have had WiFi in most places so have hardly used my phone for data and I have more than I did with Vodafone which I didn't have charges. Can you confirm what's happening please?

It means once you've used your monthly data allowance then you stop getting data.  (Until you take action or the monthly roll happens)

You won't be charged (it just stops working).

You can't transfer data from a previous provider and expect to use it on a Sky sim if that's what you're implying.

Hi @Daniel0210  I think the OP means they took a bigger data plan with sky than their previous network.
