Data not working

I'm in France and I didn't get a welcome text from sky, it says my 4g is on in the corner of my screen but just won't work. It works for about 5 minutes at exactly 1:04am every night then stops again. Also can't send texts or call anyone

Although you don't have to do you have a spend cap set because if you do it needs to be high enough to cover your stay.

That apart have you tried searching for other networks to see if your device will connect and then work ?
