Absolutely gutted today, my only day off for a near 2 weeks and the DPD driver sends a bogus caller card 'We will deliver tomorrow' I was so excited for this new iPhone 16 Pro.
I was more furious the driver lied. The DPD customer service team acknowledged he lied, but couldn't do anything about it.
Phoned Sky, and after 45 minutes on hold I had enough and cancelled my TV subscription, 14 and a half years customer. Cancelled my pending internet service, and both sims will not be having an upgrade now.
If I was as incompetent as this in my job, I would've been sacked long ago. No care for any paying customer. I know the issue is really a DPD issue, but without any consequence Sky wouldn't even know about there being a problem.
Not happy!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI have read your post a couple of times now and I'm struggling to understand why you cancelled your Sky TV subscription, cancelled your pending Sky broadband subscription and cancelled your Sky mobile sims because DPD messed up.

Because if I hadn’t, nothing would be done about the inadequate delivery service that Sky relies on. Not one apology yesterday. DPD are a joke, unfortunately Sky using them have caused me issues. It's not me paying DPD, it's Sky.

You cancelling subscriptions that have nothing to do with DPD won't alter the fact that DPD and Sky will have agreed multi million pound deals. Unfortunately I think Sky can stand the loss of your payments.
