Credit refund

I got an unexpected credit on my sky mobile bill. When I called to question is I was advised it was credit from 2021 until now and when asked if I could have it refunded back to my bank I was advised no as it wasn't an overchargement. However when I have looked into it further , it has been an overcharge cause I paid my bills correctly all the time and the full amount therefore if I am getting credit due to an error dating back to 2021 then I have over paid.  Looking on here I can see someone else had a similar problem and was told no it would need to sit as a credit on the account but after escalating it they did get it refunded. I would like mines refunded back to my bank account please? I know this is something that can be done by a manager as I did use to work for sky too. Thank you.

Hi @Hayleighkunicorn2  you will need to perservere on the phone or use the social media links at the bottom of this page. The escalation process is not currently available so posts cannot be escalated.

If you have been making manual payments then this might explain the credit as Sky will take the payment automatically from you each month. If they will not refund it then you might want to put in a complaint:
