Contract got approved then got canceled

I signed a contract from sky for first time and it got approved at the start. Everything was going smoothly like setting up direct debit and my order got placed but after few minutes i got mail that my contract got cancelled. When I contacted sky they told me that my address is black listed by them due to some reason , that's why they canceled my contract after few minutes but why they didn't to me as i am new customer with good credit score

As customers here we can't say why there appears to be an issue with your address but from what you have posted here the order was cancelled due to you failing the second deeper credit check that takes place so this will be something you need to look into yourself. You could sign up on a free months trial at somewhere like Experian which will give you access to your credit record. If you do this remember to cancel before the free month finishes.

If you have paid any upfront charges tjen

these should be refunded within a few weeks.

Yeh I understand what you're saying but i from my side everything is good and they gave me reason for that was the previous persons on same address didn't paid off their bills that's why they just black listed the address from getting contract or any product

It's annoying but you can't make any company give you credit.  Debts are usually attributed to a person rather than an address but if they've decided they don't want to lend to anyone at that address then that's that I'm afraid.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
