My husband and I are both having ongoing problems with calls on our Sky Mobile phones. This is happening regularly and is becoming extremely frustrating.
We frequently don't receive incoming calls. We are often told to put the phone into flight mode and then turn it off again, which does temporarily fix the problem. However, it keeps happening again. The real problem is that we don't know the phone has stopped receiving calls until we happen to notice a missed-call notification or someone tells us they've tried to call.
We are also having problems making calls. Sometimes the call immediately drops, while on other occasions the other person answers but cannot hear us. Again, this is happening on both phones.
I've already swapped my physical SIM for an eSIM, but unfortunately this hasn't resolved the problem.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S24 and my husband's is a Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, so these aren't old handsets.
The fact that we are both experiencing the same issues, including problems with both incoming and outgoing calls, makes it difficult to believe this is simply a problem with either handset or SIM.
We both have elderly parents currently in hospital/care homes, so being able to rely on our phones to receive and make calls is really important to us. Having calls silently fail, drop immediately or connect without the other person being able to hear us is becoming a serious concern rather than just an inconvenience.
This has been happening often enough that we are now seriously considering leaving Sky if this can't be resolved.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue, and has Sky actually identified a permanent fix? We're really interested to know if other customers are experiencing this with Samsung phones as well.
