Child friendly smartwatch

Hi there, my 11 year old son will be going to secondary school this year, and I wanted to get him a child friendly smartwatch so I can get in touch with him about picks up etc. I know Sky used to do a Spacetalk one but seem to have been discontinued. Is there one similar or is there one you would recommend? I would prefer him to have a watch rather than a phone for safety. I would also prefer there to be parental controls and GPS etc.

Spacetalk apparently still exists, it's just that Sky no longer retails their hardware.

Such a device acquired elsewhere should be usable with a Sky SIM.
