Charged for calls I do not answer in the UK

Why am I getting charged for incoming calls on my mobile from 0843 numbers, I have registered with TPS but I still get the calls which I do not answer?

Unfortunately registering with TPS will only reduce incoming calls for those companies that abide by it.  Many (overseas) companies/scammers do not.

 

However, you should be charged for any incoming call unless you are roaming?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
