Changing Data Plan

I am currently on a 3Gb data plan for £9 per month and out of contract so I want to take advantage of the VIP offer of the 10Gb for £5 per month but the offer states:-

Offer only available when taking a new plan. Not available on existing SIMs.

Does this mean I will receive another SIM and therefore have to change the number to keep the one I have now?

That is correct although there are two possible work arounds:

You could call Sky to see if they will aply this offer to your current sim.

If they will not take out this VIP offer and then transfer the number on the sim you already have to a PAYG network, then move it back again to this VIP sim.

Hi, if you do it online. You could try calling sky on 150 and ask if they can apply the offer to your current sim. The worst they can do is say no.
