Changed to sky mobile from 3...want to keep my old number and have done everything to do so...still I have not got my old number back...need it urgently

I presume you obtained a PAC code from 3 and applied it to your Sky SIM?

Yes had my pac and Sent it to SKY...should I have kept my old SIM in my phone (got the SKY one now)

You can keep using your sim from your previous network as it will keeping working up until the number is moved to the Sky sim then you can start using the Sky sim in your phone.

Yes that is correct, keep using it until it stops working then put your Sky one in the phone.
