Hello I want to watch movies on my phone but I keep getting the message 'cellular data disabled, you are currently connected through cellular data'
Any idea what I need to do please?

Hello, this made no difference at all. I have also checked Apples site, tried the basics but still no cellular data, doesn't make sense. I have just upgraded with Sky for a big data package so I can stream, but I can't. The app I'm wanting to watch movies on is Kanopy, maybe the issue is with them? Thank you

Does this show as being turned on or off ?

It then says no internet connection so I have to turn it back on to reply. Just as an FYI i do not have WiFi or broadband, I can only use my phone and iPad to google/use apps

Go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.

Thank you, I've just reset network settings, gone to the app and clicked play on a movie, and it still has the same message, cellular data disabled, you are currently connected through cellular data...
I've tried Apple TV, that works so the phone is up to the job (it's an iPhone 15). Just can't get past this! Thank you for trying ☺️
