Cant sign Sky mobile credit agreement

I've been a sky customer for 22 years and for Christmas I decided to upgrade the mrs's mobile phone, got the phone ordered no problem, but when i get to the sign credit agreement, all i get is "The was a problem, please try again later."

 

This started 10 days ago, ive spoken with 8 different advisors, went through all the clear cookies/cache, different browser etc. couldnt get it resolved.

 

Its been escalated twice and both times I heard nothing back.

 

Tried this on 5 different mobile phones from work collegues, 4 laptops, 2 tablets, 3 desktop computers all on different networks using both mobile and broadband internet.

had the upgrade cancelled and renewed 5 times now and still not able to sign it.

any ideas please

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.

So my case was escalated to where i got a CRF Reference ID so it was supposed to being looked at by people would find out why I was unable to sign the credit agreement. i now have 6 days left to get this signed and im no further on, any iseas please?

Call Sky from a different phone to chase this up giving them that reference if you still can't access it.

So ive just done that, got another sky advisor getting me to clear cookies, sending me links to click, turn router off and on, same with laptop, try different computer, different mobile etc etc.

its now escalated for the 4th time and still no further on. i have till the 12th to get this signed before it cancels the credit agreement, i dont hold out any hope at all. 

 

I even asked for an electronic or papy copy where i can sign it and send back to sky, but no, sky dont do that anymore. you have to tick a box to sign it online

Starting to look like a lot of incompetance on the part of sky.as i just keep getting brushed off with its been escalated.

 
This is not how to treat your customers at all

So ive just done as you said and couldnt get past the sky advisor who got me to go through the usual:- clear cookies, send me link to click, reboot router and computer, try incognito mode on chrome, different computer/mobile/tablet.

 

It's now escalated for the 4th time, i have till the 12th to sign it before the credit agreement gets automatically cancelled by sky.

It's starting to look like a lot of incompetence on the part of sky, instead of putting me through to someone who can help i get "its been escaleted."

 

I've even asked for a copy of the credit agreement to be sent to my email so i can print it or get a paper copy where i can sign it and send back to sky. Alas no, sky don't do that anymore, you can only tick a box to sign it these days.

This is no way to treat a customer of 22 years sky, shame on you.

its ok thanks, i already have for the 3rd tme today.

Funny thing is, you'd think they'd try harder as my tv/phone/broadband is now all out of contract aswell as the 2 mobiles i have with them and they are wanting me to renew.

 

If it doesnt get sorted in time, i think it may be time to shop around and see what other options there are for me elsewhere
