Cancel an eSIM that I haven’t activated yet

So my new iPhone 16 Pro Max is arriving tomorrow after 5 weeks. I ordered an eSIM with it.

I have decided for the time being I am going to stick with my current provider as I have a really good deal.

I haven't activated the new eSIM (well in fact it won't allow me as it says it's not ready) so how do I go about cancelling it? Do I just leave it unactivated and after 31 days it will remove itself? I don't want to get charged for it in the mean time.

Any advice would be great!

Hi @ClareKealy  any unactivated sim will expire after 31 days and you won't be charged for it.
