Can’t send texts

I have iPhone 16

all was good till the new update 18.6.1 I've sent text previously no problem but now I get error messages and failed texts

There is little we can say or suggest on here if your issue has been caused by the software update as you seen to believe it is, so I take it since the update you have tried a reboot of the device ?
