I have moved your posts into this thread discussing this problem. Sky are aware some customers are having this issue. It's being investigated. See the post currently marked as the answer.

Mine started playing up last Thursday (17th) just the odd call. Sunday was a nightmare. Endlessly saga of nonsense calls with Sky Monday & Tuesday. Did all the steps as suggested and it did last 6 hours before the turn off & on again. 
Still having to go through that exercise at least 4 times a day though.
