Can’t link skyid to sky mobile account

I purchased an iPhone 17 and sim contract with sky mobile and had problems activating the sim. I called the helpline and was informed my email adress had created two different accounts (I have sky protect and an iPad already with sky)  so would need to use another email address for the phone. Did so, and the sim now works however I cannot connect my skyid and see allowances/ billing. The error message I see just reads 'whoops, there's been an error'. 

I called the helpline again today and was made to change my email address on the account once more, but still left the issue unresolved. The troubleshooting given to me was I should use a different device to try logging in, restart my router and delete my browsing history. I have exhausted all of these options and still am presented with the same message. Will I ever be able to log in?

You need to call Sky again and try to speak to their ID team about this as we are just customers here so can not help.

Thanks, I saw other threads where sky had escalated the issue from a post like this so was just trying my luck really.

The escalations have been down since the summer so we can't escalate your post at present.
