Can my number be ported from Sky without my agreement?
I have had a series of SMS from Vodafone this morning
- saying an email account hes been added to my (very old, unused) vodafone account
- that they've updated my account
- that I've made an order
- that they are getting ready to move my (current Sky mobile number) over to vodafone on 8th Sept
- that my SIM card order has arrived (in Woking!)
I contacted vodafone; they said contact Sky
I am working out of the UK at the moment and my attempts to contact Sky keep being cut off as the automatic system doesn't register my inputs.
Any idea what I should do as I'm sorry worry my number will port and the scammers can then go on to take over other accounts.
