I keep getting calls from mobile numbers saying there sky mobile saying I can upgrade to a newer phone yet the phone there saying to upgrade to I already have with them are these calls scam calls as they come from a mobile number

Fron what you have said they could be scam calls who want you to give them your account details so they can then order a phone from that you would be paying for so should you receive anymore such calls just hang up on them and do not give them any details they ask for,

I always hang up I have the latest phone and when I have question them and said ok if you are sky tell me what phone I have already they can never answer so I hang up the phone then when I google it says sky can ring from mobile numbers which I didn't realize they did that

That's what I'm saying it says they can ring off mobile numbers to which I'm asking here if that is right

No, Sky doesn't ring from mobile numbers.

With any unexpected calls from 'Sky' if the caller asks for your telephone password to confirm you're the account holder (which a genuine Sky agent should) initially give an INCORRECT one on purpose. If the caller doesn't challenge it then you know it'll be a scam call.

I'll stick my neck out and say any unsolicited incoming call from a mobile number pretending to be a company is a scam call.

I love them as I play along until they get fed up...
