Bad service
Iphone16 plus stopped working after a week. Won't turn off or on. iPhone apple tech support comes up. Now I'm scared I will lose all my data when , and when being the word. My replacement phone turns up.

Re: Bad service
As @63johnw indicates, when used as designed an Apple device will synchronize all user-created data with cloud storage for restoring onto a replacement: this is specifically intended for when hardware becomes unusable because of loss, damage or faults.
Unfortunately if syncing hasn't taken place and the phone is now unusable then yes, that content is effectively lost: short of attempted (and extremely expensive) forensic data retrieval which would require you retaining the handset and paying a specialist company this is just inevitable.

Re: Bad service
This new phone had transferred all my pics apps etc. now because it won't open at all. Just says recovery. Passwords on Face recognition. So I can't get Apple ID. How do I get it back.
