When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

iPhone 17:… Any orders for an iPhone 17 are likely to be delayed due to the usual supply and demand issues faced by Apple. This happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

My update is that after 4 weeks of waiting, their system cancelled my order in error. All they can do is reorder but cannot move me up the list so fresh order from now with another wait time of estimated 4 weeks or more. 

This came from complaints team after escalation. Ive told them they have wasted 4 weeks of my time and effort. I could have had it ordered elsewhere and I'm going away for a month in November. So now they have stopped me from getting it elsewhere in time. 

they had sent me an email to say I'd have it by 29th October then 2 days later cancelled it in error. 
What are they doing? I'll never use them again and will advise everyone I know to steer well clear

Please help me out here bc I wanted to do the same too but I have no idea - do you have to use their sim? I don't want to use or pay for their sim, just the phone

if that can work then I'll order it straight away, I'm done waiting for a possibility of an update this month from Sky

As long as your credit isn't in absolute tatters, you should be fine.

No but I have had a second mortgage go through only 2 month ago so just fear with so many hard searches it will end in tatters haha I'm gonna give them till Tuesday like they have said today to me.  if I don't receive il just be ordering from apple 6 weeks is abit of a joke

I ordered a 256gb orange pro max on the 02/10 my order still says in progress i have called and I just wait for a human to speak for over 45 mins every time 

anybody know how i can actually speak to sky about this?

Your going to have a long wait some of us are still waiting from 21st September and others longer no point ringing them they are saying all different things to people because they don't even know them selfs it's bad practice if you ask me saying will be 3-4 weeks been waiting 5 weeks and still no updates wouldn't mind if they would give us all updated

If anyone like me didn't do much of a research or came across this thread before buying... I specifically went with 17 pro in Blue 512gb as it said "back order, delivery within 1 week". I understand back order a possible delays, but as the week has passed and no updates, decided to try the chat support. After waiting for 1 hour to get a response, person checked my account and said a different phone from what I ordered (pro max, not pro). After that was clarified, I was told that because of high volume of order, dispatch would be between 2 and 4 weeks. After it changed to 4 - 6 weeks, so they couldn't get their story straight 🙃

A couple of hours after that, got an SMS from sky that I have not activated my esim yet... 

I am not in a rush as current phone is working fine and to be fair this delay will help me get out of current provider contract without the early termination fee, but quite annoyed at the incorrect information in both website and support.

If my order is cancelled as it happened to many in here I am not sure if I will bother trying again, might bite the bullet and pay phone upfront directly with Apple. 

For those that had their orders cancelled, did you get the e-sim issued and all or didn't get to this stage at all?

@FlyestMonkey40 no u can put sky sim in it for example... i just got the cheapest sim with the phone as u can't buy device only. My sister did the same last week but was  for different colour! Came the following day 👍🏻 u can then just cancel the sim but keep phone with them ❤️

i ordered 19th of september,  still showing in progress coming soon, i have been in contact with them on numerous occassion and they keep giving me fake dates, its just so frustrating how they lie about it, i missed work twice waiting to receive my phone until now they keep telling me same stories, anyone in northampton has received?

Hi, I ordered the iPhone 17 on October the 7th and it's been two weeks now since iv ordered. Iv tried calling and have tried finding out when it will be delivered but still nothing. Just wanting to know when

Hi @AngelAsh  no one here can tell you. There are delays with the 17's. The most up to date information is in your order status in your account. Coming soon means they are waiting for stock.
