Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Hi Everyone, has anyone from Ireland ordered iPhone 17 / Pro / Air any model and received their device? I ordered on the 22nd of September but still yet to hear about the delivery details from Sky and on the mobile application it says Coming Soon under delivery date.

Please share if anyone from Ireland ordered iPhone from Sky and received it. thanks

Just had my notification from DPD saying they're expecting it.

Ordered about 13:20 on pre-order day. Orange Sky Pro Max 2TB and just got my DPD and expected delivery notifications so should hopefully be delivered tomorrow. 

I've been waiting to post here because I'm honestly so chuckled at the tantrums on this thread that I've been reading the last couple weeks.

Ya'all need to realise Sky have zero, and I mean zero involvement in the distribution for new Apple products at pre-order time, and it's the same for every network.

They get estimates directly from Apple in batches, not individual orders. When I rang last week I was told delivery will be from the fourth October. As you can see it's a couple days earlier. 

 
The stock is shipped by Apple directly to be handled by DPD who the allocate the stock, they include the network info envelope and then send it to the customer. Various things like port received and region can alter. So someone ordering the same phone down south could be received sooner up north depending on the orders outstanding for that region. 

This series of iPhone is over 45% more popular than the 16 series. Pro Max is the most popular, orange is the most ordered colour, 256gb and 512gb are the most ordered memory. 

I've ordered new iPhones via Sky, EE and o2 for various people over the past 4-5 years and it's the exact same process with every network in every pre-order window.

If they have nothing to do with it, then why has a system error been fulfilling new orders rather than preorders? Its been admitted that a system error allowed people ordered on the 25th to receive it next day whilst preorders sat there not moving. Theyve been crediting people money off their bills as an apology. 

Sky messed up and the 'tantrums' as you call them are justified because Sky have been LYING TO US. 

After several calls, mine comes today after I ordered on 15th. I saw people in this forum getting the exact same model I ordered 10 DAYS after me.... when I stated this to the agent yesterday, my order was prioritised and it's arriving today. I've also had the first month credited because they completely utterly ruined the experience. If I hadn't of called, I'd still be waiting, whilst the system fulfils orders placed after me.

Same here , ordered 1:03 on the 12th and it still says awaiting dispatch . Currently writing on the 256 orange from Argos also . Funny thing is alt won't cancel my order, the first person said she can't physically do it , the second person promised she would and didn't and the 3rd said you had to deny at the door but our local dpd man has told us they are not allowed to have delivery refused we have to accept it then return it via the post office as he's not allowed to take back refused items

Good to see guys who order on the 12th starting to get DPD emails. I order two IPhone 17 Pro Max 256gb (Blue and Orange) on the 19th so hopefully I'm around a week away.

in Sky defense they made me aware of an up to 4 weeks wait.

Some guys on here are getting very upset at the customer service and information which I have not had as not contacted anyone as I made an informed decision to potentially wait a month.

Iam still waiting for delivery had tracking info since the 17th ordered on 12th still not received my order been told today they don't have a clue when I receive it and they apparently don't know when new stock is due even though I was told the other day new stock is due for the 3rd and delivery's will start from them absolutely joke
