Yes I was advised by one of skys team to cancel and re order , I asked to cancel my pro max orange 256 as I purchased and received from Argos. I was told they can't as it's in the fulfilment process. I informed them nothing has changed since day one but that didn't matter to them, the next person promised I could cancel dnd that she would sort it for me. She did not

I wonder if most of us will recive the phone tommorow? I had a message on the 19th saying it's expected by the 4th and the same message again on the 29th.

I'm currently chatting with an agent who has told me my dispatch date is the 3rd of October. When I told him today is the 3rd of October, the reply was that they have no stock.

I have asked why people who ordered the same phone a week after me have received their devices and got a canned response.

Sky's customer service is absolutely atrocious. Using cheap labour in the other side of the world, who used canned responses and lack any sort of empathy or people skills sums them up.

Without doubt the worst mobile service provider in the UK.

How long did you wait - Iphone 17 pro

Just trying to get some sort of idea how long folk are waiting for iphone 17 pro's to be delivered.  I ordered 27/09/25.  We're going away 17th Oct and I'm hoping for the delivery to arrive by then...... not fancying my chances looking at all of the issues in these posts...!

I think it's really sneaky of Sky Mobile to allow you to order a new product and then not tell you it's out of stock or on "back order" until after the purchase. 

 

I HATED my new Samsung so asked to send it back (was in my cooling off period), ordered a new iPhone to replace it, however have now been told there's no stock and I may need to wait until October 29th... I've had to send the Samsung back which left me with no phone.

 

I can't be without a phone for work, so have had to borrow someones iPhone 8.... Which Apple doesn't even support anymore so I wasn't able to reload a previous saved backup!

 

I now have this awful, slow, useless phone with no apps on it. A shambles!

You haven't said what iPhone you ordered. Unfortunately at this time of year any orders for iPhone 17 models are likely to be delayed. This happens every time a new iPhone is launched. 

I now see on another post you ordered a 17.

iPhone 17 Pro Max in Orange ordered September 14th, just now had my dispatch email for tomorrow. Was told expected 4th October from the start so no complaints from me.

same here, ordered a 17pm 256gb in silver on 15th as an upgrade from my standard iPhone 15. My app still says 'awaiting despatch' and when I click on 'track your order' it says I have no order 😒

Have phoned twice now and been told the same 'wait 3-5 days I promise it will be with you' (yeah right🙄) and 'can you please complete the survey to give me a 9 or 10'. Yesterday I said I'd wait to see if the phone arrives before scoring and she laughed!! 


Have been so tempted to cancel and go to another provider, but  if I ordered the 17pmax with Tesco now they've got a delivery date of 2nd Nov (at least they give a realistic date instead of Sky's empty promises that are actually blatant lies 🤬)

 

Also considered the 16pmax as that's in stock, but it's only £3pm less and after seeing quite a few reviews now I think I really want the 17pmax for the upgraded camera.

Maybe I'll take the hit and wait for Tesco, then I'd get a guaranteed no price increase and earn clubcard points on my payments. What incentive do Sky give for loyalty 🤷🏼‍♀️ (being able to to roll unused data is the only reason I moved to them 3yrs ago)

Afraid not - we're other customers here with no insight...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
