Is anyone else having issues cancelling with Sky? I have an order that says 'coming soon' since release and still hasnt arrived. Customer services keep saying they can't cancel because it's in fulfilment and just refuse delivery. I literally dont understand how it can't be cancelled if its not even been packed or dispatched!! Absolute joke

contacted sky customer service only once on 20th September, and then never contacted again.

Finally got through and the guy said it's definitely for delivery for tomorrow despite I have no emails or texts to show this he said there must a technical glitch and I shall receive message from DPD 6 hours before delivery as they are dispatching direct (didn't say from where though) . I explained I can't book another day off work if it doesn't arrive tomorrow so he said it will definitely arrive tomorrow as that's what is showing on the system his end. Shame it's not showing my end (but that's a glitch apparently)

We shall see if it does arrive tomorrow if not will be straight back on the phone as have 2 recorded calls with different advisors saying it will definitely 100% be in my hand tomorrow and 1 advisor 3 days ago saying it would be the weekend

@Kirsty+Ann  this is the situation I'm in. Assured earlier delivery will be tomorrow but have no order information for delivery. 

what does your account say and what does it say in your messages on MySky app?? You'll find it probably says 4th October?? 

I very much doubt it will come tomorrows

I was told tomorrow but after speaking with agents on phone and live chat, I give up. Mine doesn't even say oct 4th. I should of had mine on the 19th!

Ordered the 17 Pro Max 256 GB silver on 13th ....just been told it's the 3rd ...so at least another week to wait ....he also said, seeing as I've given you an exact date, can you give me some feedback, it will really help me 😳

No offence to those who have had their phones delivered, but genuinely... how the **bleep** are you lot receiving phones despite ordering after us that placed orders bang-on 1pm, that defeats the purpose of pre-orders entirely. I don't even care about the phone anymore, it's the "just keep waiting sir" drivel, with no dates for delivery being given despite Sky making a DPD booking on the 16th (but STILL not fulfilling it a week later), and also, not being given the choice of cancelling because according to them it's dispatched (it's not!). This is easily the most aggravating experience I've had ordering anything in my life, all this for a daft phone. 😂

UPDATE - 

So following on from another call this evening the advisor has again confirmed those who are being told the 26th are misunderstanding, stoke for the iPhone Pro Max 256gb Cosmic Orange is due tomorrow with a further 4 day turn around for delivery.

This contradicts the guarantee offered this morning that my device would be here tomorrow.

Fair play to this agent tonight! Very helpful (hoping her dates are correct). Very apologetic and credited my account with £38.00 by way of apology.

This is on top of the £100 credited for the earlier promise of the 19th delivery.

overall as long as I get the phone in the next week or so I'll be happy seems as they have compensated me £140 off my bills all in!.

Just been on the phone. He said it's definitely getting delivered tomorrow, i said I haven't had any tracking details, he said I will get them in the morning. I ordered silver pro max 256GB on pre order day.

I've been told tomorrow for 17 pm in orange after pre orders at 1pm. Got told 19th then tomorrow. Have now been told it's very unlikely! Got credit of £10 😡 ridiculous when I spent all last Friday in and basically a liar  when I said I have a text saying tomorrow. I even said I would send it to them. Haven't spoken to the same person once!!! Every day a different employee and excuse!!!

They were very clear today if you don't have DPD info as of now you won't be getting the device tomorrow. Stock is going to be updated and delivery's out within 4 days or so. 

that's my update especially when I've said others are on here saying they are getting theirs tomorrow. The handler was adamant they will not be coming tomorrow.

I don't even know the truth behind what I was told today..

We deal with DPD through work and I was talking to a rep this afternoon who told me that Sky are not dealing with distribution for iPhone 17 at all, he said DPD are doing it all on their behalf, phones go to location and are distributed by DPD.

He admitted that they don't know anything about order dates, they just ship to depots when they can ship full containers, sometimes orders have to wait until they can ship a full load. 

I don't know why he would be untruthful, sounds very messy as sky literally have no control and obviously DPD do not have access to sky systems and vice versa. 

Probably why Sky reps are using **bleep** as they haven't got a clue?
