Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Ordered on the 12th September as you may have seen previous comments. Called them today, had to cancel it as it's 'stuck' like other people have already commented. No empathy from customer services just said we have to re do the order. So a new credit check etc then they said I have to pay £12 upfront, can't remember if I did that last time but you'd think they'd waiver that but nope! Email now says 1-2 weeks but we'll see! Wish I just cancelled it and tried another provider to be honest!

Every other brand has got the phones in stock some showing next day delivery some within one week and then here we are waiting for months now. They told me they will get stock on 17th nov and you might get phone next day or within week on 21st let's see if they still can deliver.

For people who've received their device, how long between sky website showing "awaiting dispatch" to actually receiving the phone did it take?

Hopefully they will deliver in a week or something as im waiting for my phone to be dispatched, like I have to be patient until they're in stock to be honest... 🙂

I have ordered the iPhone 17 pro max 2 days ago, when I check the delivery status of the order all it says is coming soon - in progress.

what does this mean and how long does it take for the delivery?

I've not received an email since the order confirmation.

I was told it would be here within the next few days.

Your post has been moved to the massive topic at hand where you can see people are waiting 4 weeks plus for their iphone 17 deliveries due to Sky awaiting on stock from Apple which is usual this time each year with these new iphone releases.

Scotty - I find myself in a very similar position to yourself. Pre-ordered the 17 pro max on the 12th September (blue, 256gb). I made contact with Sky and went round in circles for 45 minutes. I proceeded to raise a complaint via email and have got absolutely nowhere with them. Their customer service is atrocious it really is. I have since called and made contact (I stayed calm the whole time) as I knew I would end up getting transferred depending on what I said. Anyways, I cancelled that first order - The agent gave me a decent "Black Friday" deal for both my wife and I current sim deal. I re-ordered the phone as they told me it was in stock. I called again yesterday and was told, sorry guaranteed I would receive an email from DPD around delivery. Of course not heard a thing. Called again today and the guy wouldn't give me an exact timescale but did say it was in stock. The morale of this being, and for anyone else considering purchasing via Sky website or app. THINK TWICE!!!! I pay Sky over £220 per month for a multitude of products. I certainly don't feel VALUED!!! SIM card deal you ask - I got two for £10 for 12 months with 40gb on each. Changes to £18 thereafter (of course I will change then). [Removed]

After waiting nearly 2 months since I ordered the iPhone 17 pro max 1tb on the 27th of September, Sky told me to wait until December for it to arrive, went to check my order today and it suddenly disappeared, called in and the agent told me my order was cancelled because it was in progress for such a long time and that I would need to place a new one, I am fuming and don't know what to do, I get connected to a call center in India in which they cannot do anything to help me, I made a complaint and received no response after 15 days, can someone help me how can I escalate this to someone in sky that can take a proper look into this and give me a resolution ?

Sky have up to 8 weeks to resolve a complaint or issue a deadlock letter.

Ordered a 17 pro max 2 weeks ago, any idea as to when it will actually arrive? Agent said 4 weeks when I ordered but people I know received there's within a week etc. Still no expected delivery date even, just wondering as to when it will have an update on arrival time

As we’re customers here we have no insight into stock levels or any delivery timescales.

If you have ordered a latest model iPhone 17 delays are always likely due to the usual supply and demand issues faced by Apple. This happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

After credit checks have been completed the most up to date information on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

Yeah appreciate the fact stock levels etc just wanted a rough timescale as to when it might arrive. 

credit checks etc been fine, delivery just says expected soon.

only querying as people I know have received there's within 2 weeks yet I have no update on mine - appreciate the help though thanks

4 weeks seems to be the average wait time going by what other people are saying on here of late.
