Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Not yet im in derby area had numerous messages on the app to state 26th received on the 18th and 22nd then I got a text on the 23rd but as of today no phone has arrived and no updates have been made. I did call on Friday an the agent said I'd receive a message off DPD by 11am but when I called back at 12pm the next agent said he don't know why the previous agent said that. I'm going to have to change the delivery to the saturday after DPD have got it. I was hoping it would have been this weekend as my new watch arrived by DPD and was hoping it would be on the same van.

Ordered my phone on the13th. Phoned on the 25th, as my delivery date was supposed to be the 26th and they said no matter what it should be there that day or 24 hours after, by DPD. It's now the 28th, no email update, no tracking info, still said it needs to be dispatched.

I'm in Scotland, ordered 12th, 17 pro max 256gb orange, was told 19th, then told delivery 26th, still nothing, still just says coming soon on my orders

When I've gone to order another to see what the wait times say there it says 4 weeks! I understand there might be supply issues and it's been a popular pre order but all they need to do is send comms to explain the delay and let everyone know when they'll get their phone!

Spent SEVEN HOURS since last Friday on phone/chat to Sky trying to cancel my pre-order. Ordered on 15th, order page said delivery on 26th, then had a message on 19th saying "we expect to deliver by 4th October". 

Been lied to on the phone, hung up on, put on hold for 20 minutes, spent 40 minutes to get through, been transferred multiple times to people who have no idea what I'm on about. Told I'd get a call back from a manager that never happened, had the case escalated to the "mobile case team"  - no response. Made two complaints, nothing.

Had enough.

Spoke to Sky yesterday over chat and made it clear either deliver the phone by Tuesday 30th at the latest or cancel the order - said I was using my rights under the Consumer Rights Act and Consumer Regulations/Contracts due to the change of date. Next step will be ofcom or equivalent.

Been a Sky customer for years and my family have been Sky customers for over two decades. 

Had enough of this - company are a disgrace, not just the overpromise of stock but the absolute lack of customer service or public acknowledgement of all of this problems people have experienced.

@garyhar93  I ordered the orange pro max 256 at 1315 on the 12th  got a message on the 26th  to say delivery by the 4th October so it's not a first come first served. Mine is going back i was able to order from tesco Friday 26th pro max 512 blue so they can have there's back mine from tesco is on its way via dpd sky mobile is a shambles

Absolutely well said, the whole pre-ordering system and the lack of communication has been a massive sham, I called Friday and they said I would get the tracking that night for a Monday delivery, not heard so called back on Saturday and the chap stated that I got a text message stating that it would be delivered by the 4th again total lie!! He then went on to say that the phone was not going to be delivered, after a few inpatience exchanged words I was again guaranteed that I would get it Monday. Again no tracking available so called the up and he said no the other chat is lying. It won't be here until the 4th so annoyed, he now said I will get it Monday Tuesday of Wednesday.

Ordered two upgrades and getting IPhone 17 pro max for me and wife.

placed orders on the 19th September and still no order showing or delivery date.

I understand it's out of stock but surely there must be an estimated date stock is due in?

@Haydncraig  my original date was the 19th no phone nothing checked in the app in the messages there was  a message by the 4th October that's how I found out no text no email this happens every year with sky good luck with your phone hope you get it soon  Am waiting on dpd tomorrow from tesco its at delivery depot

@Bails1 I have a brother who is waiting for his 17 pro max in Orange from EE, they are quoting "within 28 days", so I would guess that Sky's time line might be similar.

Thanks, I was told the 26th I originally ordered the 12th was told it would be delivered the 19th no update, then was told the 26th. Honestly just cannot believe how bad the communication has been, I wouldn't have been annoyed if I was kept up today. I've told them they either send it by Tuesday or cancel the order
