He said he's not in the phone department but will do what he can to help, he kept apologising and said he would feel the same if he was going for a pricey phone and then I heard him reading the email to himself before he told me what it said so I don't know he could have been a good actor but it sounded genuine to me . He then laughed when I told him somone on here was told global warming was delaying the phone he said ha I have to tell everyone this and started laughing again

Work colleague just got email saying it's coming tomorrow, tracking showing DPD have it.  Email was sent 6 minutes ago.  Blue 17 pro max 256gb

I've given up and bought a 17PM 512gb deep blue from Apple Store in Glasgow when one popped up. I ordered from Sky at 13.03 on the 12th and heard nothing since. It still says it'll be delivered on Thursday 18th in My Orders! The DPD notification of having received order details but no parcel  vanished and that was the final straw. I did speak to a rep but got the same platitudes as everyone else. I will cancel the Sky order (one way or another).

Ah, that's rubbish! I've been hearing a lot of stories about people who ordered the exact same configuration getting it before them even though they ordered earlier.

I also ordered the 17 Pro Max, Blue, 256GB on the 14th, so hopefully a tracking email soon

I placed my order on the 12th at 19:30 for two iPhone 17 Pro Max 256gb Cosmic Orange, I received one on launch day (19th) and the other has been dispatched today and with DPD. 

So I'm sure anyone still waiting won't be long now, I know it's frustrating (especially the communication) but they seem to be getting there with dispatching them now.

Obviously they have more to lose by not making him happy.

I've ordered an iPhone 17 along with the eSIM, when I check my sky account and go to track order I'm only able to see my order of the eSIM but I cannot see anything about iPhone 17

God knows. I read that if you weren't within the first hour then you'd be waiting for the next lot of shipment but obviously not true in my case!
