Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Another call to sky this morning and another load of **bleep** useless information. Now advised:

"Backlog states it will now be four weeks for delivery on the iPhone Pro Max 17 256gb cosmic orange"

Anyone who hasn't received this as of yet it's likely not to arrive before the end of October. 

Absolute shambles.

Sky has been great to me over the last 5 years. Their service has been excelent and whenever I have ordered a product from them its always been a great experience. It should be noted that I have never ordered a phone over a product launch period and I wasnt going to this year as my 13 Pro Max was still doing a good job for me. After the launch and reviews of the Pro models I decided to pull the triger and get one as I just got a new job and and thought I would give myself a pat on the back. I ordered mine on the 16th, a blue Pro Max 256gb. It said on the website when I placed the order to be delivered by the 26th.  

I have been on the phone with them a couple of times to see if I can coax a delivery date out of them so I can prepare some time off but as many has experienced its been one story to another stating it will be delivered by the 26th and some saying it will only ship from the 26th to be with me for the 3rd of October. I have resigned myself to acepting that I will only receive it next week. If that doesnt materialise I will be compiling a strongly worded email that will do absolutely nothing in getting my phone anytime faster.

Apple's own store is currently stating delivery as 3-4 weeks too.

Don't usually post on forums like this but have been lurking since placing my pre-order for 17 Pro Max 256GB.

I've seen a lot of you getting updates with expected delivery timelines via messages etc so called up last week to see why i'm not getting these. Was assured that Monday Tuesday (22nd, 23rd) id'd get an update. NOTHING!

So calledd up again today asking about why I haven't got these and why people who orderd after me are getting there devices and i'm not. I get it's a preorder but it really urks me that on there website it said 'for delivery on the 16th' and not even have the curtisy from sky to get an update re. Delays or expected shipping deadlines.

Caller 1 - Said she will do her best to make mine a prioirty (Load of rubbish) then when trying to get to the bottom of the issue re. communication tranfered me to another caller.

Caller 2 - Had no idea what was going on and every time i tried to explain she kept saying have you nto got your returns label fro my phone i'm swapping. (Obviously not if i don't have the new phone) couldn't get what i was trying dicuss. Ended up with getting £27.80 off my bill for 12months. Transfered me again to the swaps department because to see if there's an issue there.

Caller 3 - Had to explain everything again no idea why i've been transferd had the typical shpeal about it being delayed blah blah. Assured me that people who orderd the same make and model and GB won't be getting there's before me. I've seen people ordering days later get theres before me. So clearly **bleep**. Now said the device is on back order and that its expected 2-3 weeks but can't say when that is. She then said i could order another colour and i would get it quicker to which i said i'd have to order it as a new order so it will still be delayed and she said yeah. Whats the point in even offering it when they apprently can't cancel order. Patehtic!

ended up hanging up it's just going around in circles. No mention of any system errors like previous poster have mentioned which I was the most worried about. So no idea whats going on still after an hour of being passed from department to department.

@Samdl2  I ordered the orange pro max  on sky 256 but tesco mobile have the 512 pro max blue in stock so went for the blue it seems easier to get. Sky are all over the place they just keep taken orders. Good luck and get up early for dpd and sit at the window lol

Still no update or emails despite sky saying definitely being delivered today. Phone them this morning as haven't received tracking which said it was supposed to be dispatched this morning but was missed and have now said it could arrive anytime from 1 week to 4 weeks. Never a straight answer spoke to 2 different people that said 2 different things and they said nothing they can do

Did anyone actually get there Pro Max today or had any sort of notification that it's coming today/tomorrow?

I have just got off the phone with sky and apparently all the pre orders that we're supposed to come on 19th, customers are going to be notified by 5pm today with email and time frame! Doubt this very much but we'll see 😡

I called this morning and told I would definitely use the phone this Monday, but saying again I'm more likely to win the lottery then it arriving Monday
