I ordered my 17 Pro Max Silver 256gb at 13:20 also as the website was playing games until then (i was trying initially from 1pm on the dot). Signed my credit agreement at the same time.

Had final confirmation through at 16:23 on the 12th.

When i ordered it said delivery ON the 19th, i checked for an hour or so later and it still said delivery ON the 19th, and it wasn't until a few hours later when I checked in the evening it said delivery FROM the 19th.

I had an email last night at about 7:15 from sky saying my order should be with you soon, and a notification from the DPD app saying a parcel was expected.

It arrived at 11:28 today.

We ordered 3 x 250GB iPhone 17 Pro Max on pre-order day. The silver unit has just arrived today, the two orange units are still showing as coming soon. Previous message advising all would be with me by 26/9 looks unlikely. Seems like their is greater demand for Cosmic Orange!

@AlexJ28 seriously lol, I still have the lovely "coming soon" **bleep** lol, and its an Air I just don't ever see me getting it tbh despite getting a text earlier in the week to say id get it before the 26th 😂 before the 26th is today and not a whiff of a dpd email. 🤦‍♂️

There is no compensation for a delay in your device being delivered although it appears Sky offered you a £10 good will credit which hopefully you accepted. You don't get reimbursed for taking time off work to wait for a potential delivery if that's what you're referring to.

I was already offered £10 compensation for the inconveinence of taking a day off unpaid in order to be around for the delivery - as it states that it cannot be left, and you need an matching ID in order to take delivery. 

Upon chatting to customer service he confirmed you don't need an ID and some DPD will ask, but it's not essential and is only at the specific DPD delivery drivers request.

Having to take a day off has cost me more in terms of wage, than £10 - as it was stated that delivery would be ON the 19th, when I purchased it.

It's not easy for me to take a day off and I need to give advance notice, hence the reason I took that day off which in the end proved to be unneccesary.

Also due to the delay, the trade in value which I had secured via Music Magpie, had dropped by about £100 as I was unable to get it to them in time anymore due to the issue caused by Sky.

I'm not after anything in particular - but when i've read that people here have had 'Substantial compensation' for being in the same boat as myself - it seems only fair that we are all treated the same.

I've had enough, I ordered in 12th.  I've seen people get exactly the same phone through sky who ordered after me.  I know people through other networks who ordered on the 13th who now have their phone. 

My order obviously isn't important to Sky so I'll go out this weekend and get it from a store.

Ordered on 12th September, order confirmed at 1:44pm.

There has been no movement whatsoever on the order since and have not received an expected delivery date.
