Pre ordered iPhone

I pre ordered the iPhone on 13th but had no update and it doesn't say when it will be here

l’m afraid you aren’t speaking to Sky Customer Services by posting here. This is a customer led discussion forum where we try to help other Sky customers.

As we’re customers we have no insight into current stock levels or any delivery timescales. The most up to date information (after credit checks are complete) on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

 I had an update from DPD this morning to say that my phone will be delivered today between 2:30-3:30. Thats for Iphone 17 Pro Max Silver 256gb that was ordered 12th Sept not long after 1pm

I have just been on the phone to sky customer services for 40 minutes. I have asked them to cancel my swap and cancel my iphone air order. I was eventually told the order is pending cancellation on sky side. The woman who said she was from the "loyalty" department. Said she will ring me when its cancelled and removed from my account. She also said i will be refunded my upfront cost and my piggybak data. Im gutted im not getting the phone. Maybe i will try later in the year. I feel really let down by sky. Its still showing that the devices are avaliable to buy.

Yeah, ordered at 1.06 on the 12th and absolutley no update since!

Id been hopeful that getting an "more available or less desirable" option would have sped up expected times but that seems to have not worked. I ordered a 17 pro in silver 256gb on the 15th and not heard a wink from them. Would have ordered a pro max but the delivery time was not promised to be on the 19th such as with the pro at the time (which now everyone sees to be a total lie). Pretty terrible customer experience.

I ordered the PM silver and pro on 12th, has the pro, still no PM. Was promised tomorrow, just spoken to them and have been told minimum another 4 weeks!!!!!

I've now cancelled my direct debit for tv, broadband, protect and phone contracts so let's see....

Tempting as it might seem cancelling the payment method is definitely not recommended.

Doing that is going to cause you additional problems. Your services will be restricted, you won't be able to call Sky, you wont be able to cancel, late payment fees will be added and eventually Sky could involve a debt recovery company which may affect your credit rating.

Well it's finally new phone day!! Just not through Sky....despite ordering on the 12th at 2PM. Absolutely sick of the lies "will be with you in 24-48 hours", "will be with you by 26th Sep", "will be with you by 4th Oct".

 

Went direct to Apple and will be picking up my phone later, now I just need to get Sky to cancel my order (wish me luck). 

On the plus side, anyone that ordered the 17 PM 256GB in blue, there will be one less person in the queue lol.
